Pysanka Eggs

this type of art was created as a Ukranian tradition. How its done is to melt wax into a stick and cover areas that you would like to keep said color that you choose. After adding the wax, you put it into a colored dye and leave it for 20-30 minutes. once taken out you repeat the process. I did 5 eggs with all different kinds of designs. 2 of them i had done a more traditional style with the colors and patterns. the flowers represent spring. the color pink represents success, black represents many types of things such as darkness before dawn and death, ignorance and fear. the blue represents sky, air and good health. on another egg i used the colors red, gold and yellow. red represents happiness, hope, passion, and the joy of life and love. gold represents many different things such as Passion, Wisdom, The golden, everlasting sun, Fasting, faith, patience, and trust, The color of mother earth, bringing life and gifts. yellow represents the sun, stars and the moon.
